I also make poems, songs and dances usually together with my ukulele. Here are some of our work together as tutu pear. "tutu" means "rabbit" in Chinese and my uku does look like a little pear.
"background" (poetry reading)
I shared a lot of time with grass at a little park near my apartment in spring in 2023. They were vivaciously green after a winter of rainfall. Music is from J.S Bach Prelude and Fugue No.1 in C major (Thanks Bach!).
"a fakeness" (poetry reading)
This one sort of speaks to a perennial aspect that animates my current journey (I keep its mystery here to be faithful to the poem). I had the theme for a while but the writing only sprouted after a camping trip from which I took back with me many many rich and vibrant characters and imagery. Music is from J.S Bach Prelude and Fugue No.6 in D minor.
"pear can't stop making poems" (poetry reading)
This is a collection of four very short poems (all opinions are pear's). Music is from the album Jazz Impressions of Japan by The Dave Brubeck Quartet.
"noisy spring" (improvisational dance)
This is another one to play with the grass! Music is from Cello Suite No. 3 in C Major BWV 1009: III Allemande.
"secret garden" (improvisational dance)
It was excellent to meet this pretty little garden in a renewing season with a lot of unruly wind. Music is from "Angel Doll" by Joe Hisaishi.
